We’ll resist interim govt, fake prophet predicted Obi’s inauguration – Tinubu’s ally Adeyeye

National Coordinator of South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), Dayo Adeyeye has said Nigerians who love democracy will resist an interim government ahead of the May 29 inauguration.

The former Ekiti Senator also knocked Bishop Feyi Daniels for saying Peter Obi will be sworn in instead of President-elect Bola Tinubu.

Adeyeye, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria, stated that calls for an interim government were geared towards anarchy.

The ally of Tinubu said every election must produce a winner, adding that Nigerian politicians must develop the spirit of sportsmanship.

Adeyeye said although the elections were not perfect, they were “very good and transparent, making it the best ever to be conducted since 1999”.

The ex-Minister of State for Works told citizens to disregard “the noise” of people trying to create unrest as well as “fake prophecies propelling the so-called “Obidients”.

“A fake pastor was saying Tinubu will be declared winner…an interim government would be formed and the government will give it to Peter Obi.

“And I Dayo Adeyeye will be a citizen of this country and allow that to happen? We will join forces with others to oppose it,” he vowed.

Adeyeye added that patriotic citizens across the country will defend Tinubu’s mandate and tackle those planning to tear Nigeria apart.
