Sunshine Stars coach, Akin Olowokere has labelled Kwara United’s defence as weak.
Olowokere led his team to a 2-1 win over Kwara United at the Kwara Sports Complex, Ilorin on Wednesday.
The encounter was a warm-up match to intensify both teams’ preparations for the 2023-24 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The young tactician said his team capitalised on the weak defence to snatch victory against their hosts.
“We studied them in the first half,” he said in a post-match briefing
“In the second half we noticed that they were over confident and we saw a weak defence line and exploited them.”
Sunshine Stars will face Kano Pillars in their opening game of the 2023/24 season.
